Detailed description

Gameplay

The game has two different game modes. In both game modes, the players must program the path of the robot from its starting position in the bottom left corner across the playing board so that the robot eventually reaches the goal area in the top right corner. The players should try to make sure that the robot collects as many stars on its way to the goal area as possible.

Playing with arrows

In this game mode, the players program the movements of the robot by placing tiles with arrows on the squares of the playing board. Once the robot reaches a square with an arrow, it will change direction according to which way the arrow is pointing. The players only have the arrow tiles available that are located randomly on the playing board at the beginning of each level. For that reason, the players need to contemplate where to place the tiles so the robot will reach the goal and on its way collect as many stars as possible. When the players are satisfied with the placement of the arrow tiles, they just need to press the play button in the bottom right corner, and the robot will start to move. If the players manage to get the robot to collect enough stars and reach the goal area, the players will advance to the next level where the difficulty has been increased. If the players’ placement of the arrow tiles didn’t result in the completion of the level, the players can simply press the replay button in the bottom corner which resets the level.

Playing with word classes

In this game mode, the players need to place tiles with different kinds of words to program the movements of the robot. Depending on the word class to which the word on the tile belongs, the robot will move in a specific direction when reaching the tile. At the top and the bottom of the screen, it is indicated in which direction the robot will move if the word on the tile is a verb, noun, adjective, or adverb. The players only have the word tiles available that are located randomly on the playing board at the beginning of each level.
